Engineering for 'Track In The Box' is provided by Conntech Products, Inc. in Cheshire CT. Harry Conner, Rich Barbieri and Anthony Douaihy have taken a simple idea, mixed in some serious brain power, some very high tech engineering and created the world's most perfect track for the CamTram System.
The space age design of the 'Track In The Box' is absolutely brilliant in its simplicity. It's constructed to withstand many of the harsh elements and rigors of the production world. In order to ensure smooth travel for the CamTram across the entire span, parts for the 'Track In The Box' are machined to the same close tolerance used in the medical field. The sections slide together smoothly and with little friction. Because the components are made from lightweight aluminum, reasonable care must be taken when assembling and disassembling the track.
